27 episodesGrief is a strange thing. One minute the wave of grief will crest and crash upon us with powerful force. The next minute, we will feel calm and in control of ourselves again. Sometimes we are able to distract ourselves from the loss for a bit, and then other times something small triggers it. While we are full force into the holiday season, I wanted to pause and reflect with you that this time of year doesn't always feel joyful and happy, and that's ok. I hope this reflection helps you know you're not alone in your journey, no matter what you might be grieving. Love this episode? Please share with friends or family that you think would love it too! This week, we are continuing our conversation about a topic that might be a bit odd or taboo for some. You may have noticed it: A few months after your baby is born, or maybe even years later when your kid says something funny and makes you laugh, you feel it: the slight leak that you can’t hold in. Or you might sneeze and accidentally pee a little. There are many jokes on social media revolving around this, but my guest today will help me dive into this topic with knowledge and a more hopeful approach. I am welcoming back to the podcast Bethany Learn from Fit2B studios, the worlds leading provider of diastasis aware workouts. She has two children and lives with her family on a hobby farm in rural SW Washington State in the Pacific Northwest. Today I’m continuing the conversation with my friend Bethany Howard to share with us her message of “Permission Granted.” Bethany is a late bloomer who loves chocolate, laughing, and a great deal on shoes. She is a writer who watches too much Netflix. Her book, Permission Granted: Embrace Who You Are, Cultivate Courage, Impact Your World has over 30 poems and over 70 journal prompts to help the reader engage with their passion, purpose, and possibilities. She loves to remind women that permission has already been granted, there’s no need to wait. She takes up her space online at www.bethanyhoward.com. Love this episode?
