episode The SAFE-AI Pathway™: Understanding the Human Journey of AI Adoption cover

Description

AI adoption isn’t a tech problem. It’s a people problem. We’re introducing AI into work built on judgment, analysis, decisions and communication. So, it’s no surprise the reactions are human: fear, scepticism… and sometimes blind trust. More training won’t fix that. People need to move from: “Will this replace me?” to “I know how—and when—to use this.” That shift follows a pattern. I’ve broken it down in this episode.

The Rise of the AI Cowboys

AI is everywhere, and apparently, so are the experts. How do we tell the difference? If you’ve spent more than five minutes on LinkedIn recently, you’ve probably noticed it: AI experts everywhere. Your network is suddenly filled with AI strategists, AI evangelists, AI whisperers, and people who appear to have gone from curious observer to seasoned guru somewhere between last Tuesday and Thursday. Before we sharpen our pitchforks, let’s be clear: this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. AI will touch every part of our personal and professional lives. We genuinely need a broad church of expertise: technologists, business leaders, ethicists, educators, creatives, and curious practitioners all play an essential role. That said, the speed at which “expertise” is being claimed does invite a little healthy scepticism.
