After years of heartbreak, quiet battles, and learning how to find myself again, I finally gathered the courage to let someone in. And then he happened. Not the usual kind. Not the ones I had met before. This felt different — softer, intentional, almost… meant to be. Foolishes in NYC

And on this fine April 1st, I present to you:  ✨ the fools I dated in NYC ✨ But before we get into the chaos — this took courage. Years of it. Years of tears, healing, and pulling myself out of a space where I didn’t even recognize who I was… to finally feeling ready to let someone in again. And then? NYC dating happened. Catfishing. Audacity. Red flags dressed as personality traits.  Men who wanted everything but commitment.  And me… just trying to find something real in all of it. Some stories are funny (now), some were terrifying (then), and most left me questioning — is this really what dating has become? But through every bad date, almost-trauma, and “I’m done with this” moment — my friends, my faith, and a tiny, stubborn part of me refused to give up on love.
