Season 2 Episode 1: How Movement and Nutrition impact health with Preya Gopie. Preya Gopie background: She was a Senior Human Resources professional with over 15 years of corporate banking experience. In addition to that, she is the Director of her own business which is PG Leadership Consulting Limited which was created in London back in 2015. In terms of education she has two qualifications – the more recent one being a Masters in Human resources from London South Bank university and she received that whilst working at Barclays head office in Canary Wharf full time while studying part time for two long years and qualified in 2009.  Prior to that she got her first diploma in Biotechnology with Technikon Natal as she was fortunate that her parents could put her through tertiary education straight after high school. Her current passion is women’s health – physically & mentally and find our roles in society fascinating and complex from puberty to pregnancy to menopause. Over the past year she have been counselling women with mental health conditions which is on the rise for her local charity. And she have been doing this thanks to technology - via zoom during the pandemic. She is currently based in North West London, working from home pretty much like everyone else and has lived and worked in London since 2004.
