Getting Lost

Many of you know I started my podcast before writing on Substack. I started feeling like I didn’t have a place to keep my podcast scripts, and I was winging it when I recorded my episodes. I was so scattered. Sometimes the episodes turned out great, but I needed a better way. To save time and ensure I had something worth sharing, I decided to begin writing on Substack to share in multiple ways while also ensuring my written material was solid for recording. There are differences between my podcasts and writing, this episode certainly shows that. Centering Prayer

In this episode, I explore the practice of centering prayer. Many authors speak about silence, solitude, and centering prayer. I referenced Richard Foster's book "Celebration of Discipline" and Don Postema's "Space for God". At the heart of the Gospel is what God has done for us, not what we have done or can do for God.
