Episode 3 is where things stop being funny in theory and start becoming very real. After shutting down the idea of talking to an inmate, I realize the problem isn’t him anymore, it’s the fact that the thought of him won’t leave me alone. What starts as curiosity slowly turns into tension, awareness, denial, and a prison full of people noticing before I’m willing to admit it myself. This episode dives into emotional walls, prison politics, accidental contact, and the terrifying realization that maybe.. just maybe.. this connection was not one-sided. Prison Wasn’t What They Told Me.

In this episode, we’re talking about what it was really like walking into prison for the first time- the fear, the training, the warnings, the stigma, and the moments nobody prepares you for. From inmates sizing me up, to realizing prison culture wasn’t what the outside world thinks it is, this episode gets into tension, the chaos, and the unexpected moments that changed how I saw everything. Also… why were inmates protecting me faster than some officers? Because apparently we’re unpacking that TOO. Dark humor, emotional damage, and questionable life choices included as always.
