Clint and Ryan schmooze about the vague topic of 1970s cinema. As millennials propagating retro stuff, we felt it important to give a deep dive into the lauded decade of filmic artistry. We go through the IMDB's of the 10 ten directors, all the genres that came, and how Clint hasn't seen the Godfather.

Ep. 8: Disney's "Hercules"

Clint and Ryan schmooze about movie that falls the exact year cutoff for what we call retro... 1997... in man who put glad in gladiator. Hercules is both our favorite movies and we can't gush about it more. Listen as Ryan gives his favorite moments and scenes, Clint lists his top 5 favorite songs, and both agree on Hades being the best character in the film by far. There's also some weird theories about 2D animation and hard Meg opinions.

Ep. 7: Elvis Presley

Clint and Ryan schmooze about the very first rock and roll star. NO not Amadeus! We did that last week! Instead it's the possibly overly talked about, but never overly respected Elvis the Pelvis. Ryan begins with his die hard obsession enough to beg his parents to drive to Graceland, as well as the connection Clint and Ryan have falling in love with the music from the Disney movie Lilo and Stitch. We go over our top 5 songs and Ryan has a INTERESTING theory about the Elvis army days.

Ep. 6: AMADEUS

Clint and Ryan schmooze about the 1984 movie that fictionalizes the story of Wolfgang "buncha other middle names" Mozart. Listen as we discuss how Amadeus is more than anything, a fun unabashed awesome movie -- and not a very somber slow moving biopic. How Clint only heard about this film from VH1's "I Love the 80s" series and thought it was a parody film. Plus we banter about the musical genius of Mozart and how this movie intentionally portrays him as a classical era rock n' roll star.

Ep. 5: "Born to Run" by Bruce Springsteen

Clint and Ryan breakdown the 1975 Springsteen staple. Listen as Ryan explains why the opening track means so much to him, Clint shows how the album works cleverly in being chorus-less, and then Ryan expresses his overall love for the Boss by trying to prepare a question for when he meets him.
