Roaming Voices Podcast: Remarkable stories told by people who live nomadically.
Welcome to Roaming Voices, conversations with people who live in nomadic ways. This is my first episode and was recorded at Glastonbury Festival 2025, in my van, and under the Ash tree opposite the Pyramid stage, on the Wednesday before the festival started. I am having a conversation with Kate Verney, hear about her extraordinary life on the road and her mission to be a female clown and mime artist - which was rare back then- her life living in a truck, travelling with troupes and travelling solo, busking for breakfast and how being neuro divergent was her super power as a performer. Kate reminds us to look hard for the magic. Kate has worked as a body harmony teacher and practitioner for over 25 years, her hands on body harmony work is intuitive and holistic, working with people and the stories they hold in their bodies, she is happy and in love and living in South Wales by the sea.
