Greetings, and welcome back to the podcast.  This episode we are joined by Mr. Jim Bertram - Chair of Keyera Corp [https://www.keyera.com/]- a TSX listed midstream company with a market cap of approximately $10 billion.  Mr. Bertram was also the President and Chief Executive Officer of Keyera from 1998 until 2015 when he became Executive Chair. During this time, Mr. Bertram led the company in significant growth and major acquisitions while enabling consistent delivery of value to customers and shareholders.  Previously, Mr. Bertram was Vice President of Marketing for Gulf Canada Ltd. and Vice President of Marketing for Amerada Hess Canada Ltd.  Mr. Bertram is a director of Methanex Corporation, the world’s largest producer and supplier of methanol to major international markets.  Mr. Bertram joined the Emera Board as a Director in 2018. He is a member of the Management Resources Compensation Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.  Mr. Bertram received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary. Greetings, and welcome back to the podcast.  This episode we are joined by Mr. Myron Stadnyk - Chairman of Vermilion Energy & board member of Whitecap Resources & Mancal Corporation. Mr. Stadnyk has over 40 years of oil and gas experience and is the former President & CEO and Director of ARC Resources Ltd., retiring in 2020. During his tenure as CEO, and prior to that as COO, Mr. Stadnyk played a pivotal role in ARC's transformation from a Royalty trust to a leading Canadian producer. His extensive career also includes working for a major oil and gas company in both domestic and international operations. Mr. Stadnyk holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. He holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta. Mr. Stadnyk formerly held a position on the Board of Directors of Veren Inc. and PrairieSky Royalty Ltd. and served as a Governor for CAPP for over a decade. His acclaimed book Crude Volatility: The History and the Future of Boom-Bust Oil Prices (Columbia University Press, 2017) received the Honorable Mention in Economics in the 2018 PROSE Awards; the 2023 IAEE Marcel Boiteux Best International Energy Economics Book Award; and the 2024 USAEE Adelman-Frankel Award for unique and innovative contribution to the field of energy economics. Leading media outlets regularly interview Bob, who frequently testifies before Congress on energy markets and national security.  From 2001 to 2003, he served as Special Assistant to the President on the White House National Economic Council and, in 2003, Senior Director for International Energy on the National Security Council. Bob earned his B.A./B.S. in Political Science and International Relations from American University and his M.A. in International Economics and Foreign Policy from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
