Continuing God's Mission

After the faithful and impactful leadership of Moses, a servant who carried out God’s mission with dedication and strength, God’s people faced a pivotal moment. Yet, in that transition, God raised Joshua and gave him a powerful assurance: “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you.” As we navigate this period of change, he reminds us that we are called to be prayerful, receptive, and united, trusting that God is already at work, lifting the right people for this next season. The same God who was faithful before remains faithful now. This message encourages us to embrace both gratitude for what has been and faith for what is to come, because God’s presence goes with His people, and His mission always moves forward.

Evangelism and Discipleship

In that spirit of reflection and purpose, Jon speaks on Evangelism and Discipleship, exploring what it truly means to share our faith and to walk intentionally with others as they grow in Christ. He shares some practical tips, common pitfalls to avoid, and how to faithfully live out the Great Commission in our everyday lives. He prayed for us that as we enter this new season, may we be a people who not only grow personally in Christ but also help others rise into the fullness of life He offers.

Covenant Friendships in All Seasons

Lawrence unpacks what it means to live in covenant friendship, drawing from 1 Samuel and the powerful relationship between David and Jonathan. Their friendship carried them through difficult seasons as they strengthened one another in God and demonstrated the fruits of the Spirit, gentleness, humility, kindness, patience, and above all, love. This message reminds us that God calls us to walk closely with those He places around us: to encourage and be encouraged, to stand with one another in hardship, and to grow together in faith and love.

The Word of God & Money

In this message from our Roots series, Pastor Dave explores how our relationship with money can quietly become a spiritual obstacle, preventing us from seeing the bigger picture of what God is doing in our lives. Jesus reminds us that life is not measured by the abundance of what we own, but by how we live, love, and give. While the world encourages us to accumulate more and prove our worth through possessions, the Kingdom of God calls us to live open-handedly — allowing God’s blessings to flow through us to others. Dave's message challenges us to intentionally choose faith over financial security, generosity over accumulation, and trust in God over trust in wealth. Will we hold tightly to what we have, or will we trust God and become channels of blessing to others?

Wonder and Creation

Sally takes us through the beauty and wonder in God's Creation and how that makes us feel and draws us closer to God. She highlights how our response can cause us to bear fruit that lasts Jeremiah 17:8: He will be like a tree planted by water. It sends its roots out toward a stream. It doesn’t fear when heat comes, and its foliage remains green. It will not cease producing fruit in a year of drought.
