Description

In this message, Pastor Brandon teaches that the Christian life is not about trying harder but walking closely with the Holy Spirit. From Galatians 5:16–25, he shows that every believer lives in a daily tension between the flesh and the Spirit—and what grows in our lives reveals who is leading us. The “works of the flesh” are self-produced and lead to division, impurity, and broken relationships. But the “fruit of the Spirit” is not manufactured—it is cultivated by the Spirit and displayed through Christlike character: love, joy, peace, patience, and more. This kind of fruit cannot be faked; it is formed over time through surrender and dependence. Pastor Brandon emphasizes that real transformation happens as we continually “keep in step” with the Spirit—walking in obedience, staying rooted in God’s Word, responding quickly to conviction, and remaining connected to biblical community. The call is simple but weighty: stop relying on self-effort and start relying fully on the Spirit who already lives within you. As we do, He produces genuine, visible fruit that reflects Jesus to the world.

episode Just Show Up artwork

Just Show Up

In this message, Guest Preacher Chris Thompson teaches from the parable of the Good Samaritan, reminding believers that Christ calls His church to move toward people in their suffering with compassion. True compassion goes beyond pity or sympathy—it takes action by showing up, offering practical care, and walking alongside those who are hurting. Chris encourages the church to overcome fear, discomfort, and excuses by simply being present. Through practical biblical wisdom, he explains that we don't have to have all the answers or fix someone's pain; often the greatest ministry is listening, validating their hurt, and reminding them they are not alone. Because Christ first moved toward us in compassion, we are called to move toward others and faithfully "just show up."

episode Abba Father artwork

Abba Father

In this message, Pastor Brandon unpacks the life-changing truth of what it means to be adopted into God's family through Christ. Walking through Romans 8:12–17, he shows that believers are led, loved, blessed, and formed as sons and daughters of God. Rather than living as spiritual orphans driven by fear and performance, Christians are invited to experience the intimacy of crying, "Abba, Father," resting securely in the Father's love and care. Pastor Brandon also explores how our earthly view of fatherhood often shapes our relationship with God, calling believers to renew their minds and embrace the Father's perfect love. Through the gospel, our debt has been canceled, our identity has been changed, our inheritance is God Himself, and even our suffering becomes part of the Father's work of forming us into the image of Christ.

episode Week 9: Spiritual Gifts part 5 artwork

Week 9: Spiritual Gifts part 5

In Part 5 of the Spiritual Gifts series, Pastor Brandon explores the gifts of distinguishing between spirits, tongues, and interpretation of tongues. He explains how the gift of discernment helps believers identify whether a spiritual influence originates from God, human flesh, or demonic deception, enabling the church to respond wisely and biblically. The message also examines the biblical purpose of tongues throughout Acts and 1 Corinthians, showing how God uses this gift for prayer, praise, thanksgiving, personal edification, and at times cross-cultural gospel witness. Pastor Brandon emphasizes that spiritual gifts are given to build up the body of Christ and must be exercised with both freedom and order. Finally, he provides practical guidance for how these gifts should function within the local church, encouraging believers to pursue the work of the Holy Spirit while remaining grounded in Scripture, humility, love, and the edification of others

episode Psychological War vs Gospel Peace artwork

Psychological War vs Gospel Peace

In this message, Guest Preacher Pastor Ayo explores the battle that takes place in the mind and shows how true peace is not found in changing circumstances but in experiencing transformation through the word of God. Drawing from Romans 12:1–2, he teaches that peace in your life begins with peace in your mind. He first warns believers about the danger of mind traps—patterns of thinking that pull us away from God’s truth and shape how we live. He then calls believers to pursue mind renewal, emphasizing that lasting transformation happens as the Holy Spirit uses the Word of God to reshape the people of God into the image of Christ. Finally, Pastor Ayo shows that renewed minds lead to greater clarity, discernment, and peace. As we fix our minds on God and trust Him, we become better equipped to recognize His will and walk confidently in His purposes.
