Today I’m discussing the importance of car seats and their proper installation. As you know, a car seat saves young children’s lives in the event of an accident. You can take your car and car seat to your local fire department, and they will ensure your car seat is properly installed. If you’re ever involved in a car accident, the at-fault party must replace the car seat even if it was unoccupied during the collision.

Many view personal injury attorneys as sharks who are just out to make a buck. We’ve heard all the stereotypes, and we found that they were unfortunately true. This is why Batta Fulkerson has always had the goal of keeping things fair for our clients. We tell them from the outset that we will never take more than what they receive from a settlement, and we won’t be paid unless they are.

We have always strived to do everything we can for our clients, and lately, that has meant changing our office location as well. We have wanted to get out of downtown San Diego because of parking issues and difficult one-day streets. I’m excited to announce that we’re renovating a new office building as we speak! We will be switching to our new office in Mission Hills in April.

Some attorneys get paid through billable hours. Others get paid through retainers. Personal injury attorneys work on contingency agreements, but many end up taking advantage of their clients and taking much more than they deserve. Here at Batta Fulkerson, we do things a little differently and never take a dollar more for our fees than what our client will receive in a settlement after their medical bills are paid for.
