Saved WITHOUT Works? - Ep. 18
Can you be saved without works?
A dying criminal had no time left to clean up his life, fix his past, prove his sincerity, or earn his way into heaven. He was nailed to a Roman cross, guilty by his own admission, completely helpless, and standing at the edge of eternity.
And then he looked at Jesus and said, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”
This message looks at Luke 23 and the criminal on the cross — one of the clearest pictures of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Two criminals were beside Jesus. One mocked Him. One trusted Him. Same suffering. Same opportunity. Same Savior. Two completely different responses.
If you’ve ever wondered whether you’ve gone too far, whether Jesus can still save you, or what real faith actually looks like, this message is for you. The thief on the cross reminds us that salvation is simple enough for a dying man to receive, but serious enough that no living person should ignore it.
Jesus still saves guilty people. The question is: which criminal are you?
