Description

Today’s episode of Show Me the Way is exactly why I started this podcast. I met today’s guest, Tyler Moon, through a connection site, and after just one conversation, I knew this interview would be something special. Tyler is incredibly well-spoken, grounded, and genuine—he made the entire conversation feel natural, easy, and meaningful. In 2019, while in his mid-20s, healthy, and physically active, Tyler collapsed during a 10-mile race due to sudden cardiac arrest. To this day, there are still unanswered questions about why it happened. What followed, though, is a powerful story of resilience, faith, and perspective. Already a man of strong faith, Tyler found himself leaning even deeper into his relationship with God after that life-altering moment. While the experience was incredibly difficult, he chose to focus on gratitude—grateful to have survived, grateful for a second chance, and grateful for the life he continues to live today. Now a husband and father, Tyler balances a career he enjoys with a growing passion for speaking and storytelling. Through his work on stage and in his writing, he shares a message that has inspired and encouraged so many. His positivity is contagious. His faith is evident. And his perspective is something we can all learn from. This conversation is filled with hope, encouragement, and a reminder of what truly matters. I can’t wait for you to hear it and take away something meaningful—just like I did. S2E40: We Can Do Hard Things with Hope, Joy and Love - with Dr. Norrine Russell

This week on The Show Me the Way Podcast, I had one of the most meaningful conversations I've had yet. I connected with Dr. Norrine Russell through PodMatch, a platform I've mentioned before. Something about her story—and her warm, genuine smile—immediately caught my attention. After receiving a thoughtful introduction message from her, I knew she truly understood the heart behind The Show Me the Way Podcast. From the moment we started talking, we clicked, and I felt certain that God had placed her in my path for a reason. Norrine courageously shares her journey through infertility and the joy she experienced when she finally welcomed her son into the world. However, motherhood quickly brought unexpected challenges. Her son suffered from severe eczema as a baby and later faced additional struggles, including ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, and eventually an autism diagnosis. Recognizing that her family's needs required a different path, Norrine made the difficult decision to leave a career she loved so she could better care for her son and her younger daughter. While her journey as a mother was often challenging, she reflects on how much her son and daughter have taught her along the way. Inspired by her own family's experiences, Norrine ultimately found a new professional calling, dedicating her work to helping children and families navigate ADHD, anxiety, and autism. What began as a mother's desire to help her son grew into a mission to serve countless others. Now, with both of her children in their teenage years, Norrine shares how much she treasures the relationships they have built together. She also celebrates her son's incredible growth and success as he prepares to begin college—a milestone that reflects how much he has overcome. Throughout our conversation, she spoke with immense pride about both of her children, and her constant smile was a beautiful reflection of the love she has for them. Norrine's story is one of perspective, perseverance, and unconditional love. She reminds us that we are capable of doing hard things and that joy, hope, and love can carry us through even the most difficult seasons. I know you'll love this conversation as much as I did. Take a listen, and if it speaks to you, please share it with someone who could use a little encouragement today. S2E39: Breathe in God and Find Your Strength - with Jennifer Minchin

On today’s episode of the Show Me the Way Podcast, I sit down with my friend Jennifer Minchin—a mom, entrepreneur, coach, and woman whose faith is at the center of everything she does. Jennifer and I first connected through women’s networking, and one of the many things I admire about her is her passion for supporting and uplifting other women. In this heartfelt conversation, Jennifer opens up about her personal journey through divorce and how she and her former husband have worked together to create a healthy co-parenting relationship that prioritizes the well-being of their three children. She shares the challenges she faced during that difficult season of life, how her faith in God helped guide her through it, and the lessons she learned along the way. Jennifer offers powerful insights on healing, forgiveness, perspective, and creating a positive future even when life takes an unexpected turn. Her story is a reminder that difficult circumstances do not have to define us and that growth and peace are possible on the other side of hardship. We also talk about Jennifer’s work as a coach and the ways she helps women find clarity, confidence, and balance in their lives. She shares details about her upcoming June retreat, where women will be pampered, cared for, and encouraged to take time for themselves—a reminder that self-care is not selfish, but necessary. Jennifer brought so much wisdom, authenticity, and encouragement to this conversation. Whether you’re navigating a major life transition, seeking inspiration in your faith journey, or simply looking for a meaningful conversation, this episode offers valuable insights that will stay with you long after you listen. I know you’ll appreciate everything Jennifer shared, and I’m excited for you to hear her story. To find out more information about the upcoming retreat in June and to follow-up with a free coaching session, please visit jenniferminchin.com. For reference, Jennifer also mentioned author Jennie Allen and musician Michael W. Smith and his song "Surrender" if you'd like to learn more about them.

S2E38: Reflection and Remembrance - with Andrea Miller

In this shorter episode, I speak from the heart reflecting on the reason behind this holiday weekend and grief either of those who fought for our freedoms or on the vision we had for our life paths. We can all remember moments in our lives where we maybe needed to turn left instead of right or where we found ourselves in the valley. However, how we react and the perspective we've gained after facing adversity or a pivot can truly make an impact on our futures. This weekend, after listening to a powerful church service, focusing on past memories, and thinking about Memorial Day, I had many things to share. Thank you for being here to help us all show each other the way and thank you for taking time to tune in to this week's episode.

S2E36: Path to Motherhood - Sharing Mom Perspective with Chris Fusco, Carolyn Miller, Niki Vericker and Toni Thorne

Happy Mother’s Day from the show me the way podcast!!! Today’s a very special episode as last minute I decided to honor some of my favorite moms, including my mom, my mother-in-law and my sisters. It was so fun to have all four of these beautiful women on the show. On this podcast we talk about handling adversity in life, and what happens when you have to pivot and the perspective after, but I don’t know if anything changes you more than being a mom. I wanted to create a fun conversation where we all shared our experiences and it was really great to not only listen to these women talk about motherhood, but also to hear them talk about their kids and how blessed they are to be moms, grandmas and even soon to be an official nana! I love my mom, my mother in law and my sisters so much! What a great way to interview them and have them on the show! Enjoy!
