You can’t see them, but, there are often many hats resting on Devin Montgomery’s head. Devin’s an actor first- as evidenced by his credit list- but he’s also a writer, producer, director and editor. Devin is known for his critically acclaimed portrayal of Luke Wolf in the 2025 feature film ‘Monsters Within,’ which he also wrote and directed. He also managed to land a distribution deal with Buffalo 8 after successful film fest run. Red Brick Road Film Festival | Season 02 Episode 01

We invited some of Oklahoma’s top indie film makers in attendance at the Red Brick Road Film Festival into the RV for candid conversations. Held in southern Oklahoma in Paul’s Valley, Red Brick Road Film Festival provides a small-town, relaxed vibe and an excellent screening experience in the Royal Theater. Every one of these guests have worn multiple hats on film productions and succeeded in garnering accolades and awards along the way. We spoke with ‘Killfeed’ writer-director Logan Walcher, actor-director of ‘Palate Cleanser,’ Tori Lane Ross, writer-actor Cain Graham (’Palate Cleanser’), Deidre Barnett, writer-director-producer of ‘The Red Shoes,’ writer-director-actor of ‘Nemesis’, Dylan Cole Black, writer-co-director of ‘Anonymous’ Ryker Sixkiller, and Marcus Mallard, producer, co-writer, 1st AD, supporting actor and uncredited craft services provider of ‘Killfeed.’ We get into topics like working as an actor in London, directing Horror and Thrillers, making a stand for representation for women in Oklahoma film, the secret lives of Lucha Libre stars El Vandaloso and Osito, the joys of multi-tasking in independent film and much, much more.
