Correction: The Feast of Pentecost was actually called the Feast of Weeks in the Old Testament. And the outpouring of the Spirit was anticipated in the passage we looked at in John 7:39. Jesus was drawing upon the significance of the Feast of Tabernacles in John 7:37-39, but also anticipating the outpouring of the Spirit at Pentecost. Hope that helps.
