Engelmann presents his latest research revisiting the steep rise of epidemic modeling and infectious disease dynamics since the 1970s. Lukas Engelmann is a Chancellor’s Fellow and Senior Lecturer in Science, Technology and Innovation Studies at the University of Edinburgh. He is a historian of medicine and epidemiology, asking how historical forms of knowledge production bear on contemporary politics of health.
