episode The Lord is Looking for the Faithful cover

Description

Living for the Lord is a process that begins at salvation that is broken into three areas: being called by the Lord, the Lord choosing us and faithful service to the Lord. One of the great themes of the Bible is that God is faithful to us. And in response, we are to be faithful to Him. But faithfulness requires commitment, doing the small things. Listen in as Pastor Ouellette talks about how faith in the Lord should lead us to be faithful. The Keys to Understanding the News

When we read, hear or watch the news today, it can be very difficult to understand what is really true. And we wonder is it possible to determine what is true and right? We ultimately need to remember there are two points of view being presented which are contending for us and our hearts: The spirit of God and the spirit of Satan. Listen in as Pastor Ouellette shares wisdom on understanding news in our current climate and how to test the fruits of the prophets and leaders. Remember there is a coming judgement and the Lord is coming for his people and we want to be ready and not caught off guard due to the circumstances around us. episode The Legacy of a Father artwork

The Legacy of a Father

God's plan for humanity included the concept of family from the beginning. God made man first, then woman to be his helpmeet and man to be the head of the family. The responsibility of man as the head of the family is illustrated throughout the scripture and the impact of the man not taking that responsibility leads to curses. Studies show that the impact of an absent father leads to higher rates of youth in prision, high school dropouts, suicides and homeless or runaway children. The father has the responsibility of transmitting the truth of God to the children. There is a difference between a legacy, heritage and inheritance. Because a legacy is something that is passed on that has a lasting impact and consequential change, the legacy of a father is more important than any inheritance of monetary things. There is a spiritual battle to keep fathers out of the family and out of church. Listen in as Pastor Ouellette challenges the church and fathers to make sure they are committing to the responsibility of being a father the way God intended.
