Fans of Continental Wrestling also got the promise of new stars like Cowboy Bob Orton, Chris Adams, Terry Gordy, and Bam Bam Bigelow and a major new championship - the Continental Wrestling Federation title. All of these new and exciting changes would be happening on something called "The Road to Birmingham"... except it wasn't.
