Description

S3: E1 In 1978, a 23‑year‑old college student named Steven Kubacki sets out on a solo cross‑country skiing trip near Lake Michigan. Two days later, search teams find his gear neatly placed at the edge of the ice, arranged like he stepped out of it on purpose. Footprints lead away from the gear and out onto the frozen lake… and then they just stop. No return tracks. No signs of a fall. No break in the ice. Just a clean line of prints that end in the middle of nowhere. Authorities say Steven must have fallen through the ice and drowned. But underneath that tidy explanation, there were details that didn’t sit right. There were undertones that hinted at something much bigger connected to Steven’s disappearance. What the Fright Case #2: Karen's Haunt

S3: E3 Work can weigh on any of us. When the days get heavy, when the things we see and carry start to stack up, it’s hard not to bring that weight home — in our minds, and sometimes in ways we can’t explain. Some folks leave their jobs at the door. Others … don’t get that choice. This is part two of Cameron’s story. We’re turning our attention to her mom, Karen — and to the question that’s been hanging in the air since What the Fright Case #2: why do the spirits seem so drawn to Karen. Cameron and Karen are still in the thick of their fright, and if y’all haven’t listened to Cameron’s story yet go back to Episode 2 and give it an ear. You’ll want that foundation before you hear what Karen has to say about the spirits that roam the halls of her workplace — and the ones that slip through the door behind her when she comes home. A special WTF to Cameron and Karen thank you for sharing your frights!
