Lydia-Carlie (she/her) is a queer, Black Haitian birthworker based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her journey as birthworker began very early; she was raised in a multi-generational Haitian household where she was immersed in the births around her and fascinated with caring for her younger sibling/cousins. She is a certified Birth & Postpartum Doula, a Reiki Master/Teacher and a certified Neuromuscular Massage Therapist with a focus in prenatal and postpartum massage. Her practice, SageFemme Prenatal Massage & Doula Services supports families through their pregnancy and birth journeys. Her mission with SageFemme is to fill the gaps in prenatal care and postpartum recovery through therapeutic massage therapy services and comprehensive birth support services.
