episode Why sometimes it seems impossible to do what we should do cover

Description

Our behavior is controlled by our conscious and unconscious mind. When we can't seem to get ourselves to do what we want to do, it's because subconscious thoughts are stopping us. The solution is to move the thoughts from the subconscious to the conscious. Once the thought is in our conscious mind, we can choose to act on it or not. As long as it's in the subconcious mind, we don't have a choice to act on it or not. There are a number of ways to move the thought from the subconscious to the conscious. One is to listen closely to the thoughts in our mind. For me, I've had the thought that it's not safe for me to be myself despite the fact that being myself is the only thing that works. Since I've moved that thought into my conscious, I can choose not to act on it. You can do the same. I offer thought coaching to help you move thoughts from the unconscious to the conscious and bring a level of consciious choice to your life you didn't have before. Alignment solves money issues

Being concerned about money is an effect of a lack of mind, body spirit alignment. When mind, body and spirit are in alignment, there is peace, health, wealth, joy, happiness, love and everything else of value, including the money we need. Our spirit is consistent, cannot be changed and is indestructible. For alignment to occur it's the mind and body that must change to be in alignment with our spirit. For my mind, having a mantra helps me keep it in alignment with my spirit. I meditated on what the ideal thought to repeat incessangly in my mind would be for me and the answer that resonated with me, my spirit, is "I am the world". I suggest you identify a phrase that creates alignment that is optimal for you and get in the habit of incessatly repeating it. To create alignment with my body, focusing on my breathing in the present moment works well. I don't try to breath any particular way. Just being aware of my breathing I find it automatically becomes deeper and slower. As my alignment improves, so does my sense of well being. When I turn my attention to money I have the thought, "It will all work out. I don't know the specifics of how, but it will." In fact money is a tool to maxinize our experience of love, joy, peace, well being, happiness and so on. We can consciously experience all that good with or without money. They are part of our spirit that is always there waiting for us to recognize, enjoy and align with. I offer thought coaching. episode Being present artwork

Being present

When we are detached from our mind, we are allowing ourself to consciously experience being present. In fact, we're always in the present moment because there is no other place to be. We think past and future exist because our mind creates that idea in the persent moment. As soon as the mind stops creating the past and future, they cease to exist. If you have a method you confidently use to determine what is true, ask if it's true that the present moment is the only moment that exists. Ask if past and future only exist when the mind is creating them in the current moment. The more we can relate to this truth, the less sense it makes to regret the past or fear the future. We increasingly break free of limitations the mind is creating. We notice as we do this, our energy level goes up. That's further verification of the efficacy of this understanding. The mind is real and it creates time, past, future and everything in the differentiated world. The mind is not engaged when we'er experiencing Beinga Present. When we're conscious of being present, we're in the flow and the mind is not engged. We are brilliant, spontaneous, joyful, loveing, kind self confident and inspired. We are ONE. We don't think ourself as being separate. We are not "self conscious". Slow down and pay attention to your mind and what it creates and when it is and is not engaged. It will change your life forever. I offer thought coaching to assist you in this process of being conscious of when we're engaging the mind and when we're not. We create our world with our mind, so it makes sense that there is value in understanding that process. Making optimal choices

I've been sick. To me that's a message I need to listen more closely to myself because there is somethig I'm missing that I have the capacity to hear if I just slow down and listen well enough. In this morning's meditation I was inspired to record a podcast addressing the question, when to push and when to allow. I believe there is a time and place for everything, including allowing and pushing. I've meditated daily for over 40 years. Rarely do I need to push myself to meditate. It typically comes as an habitually ingrained habit after all these years. I allow whatever comes up in meditation to be acknowledged. If. the thought is uplifting, I act on it; if not, not. At tiems I need to push myself to follow through on an inspired idea. At those times, I believe pushing through resistance is appropriate. Applying this to work live balance, my experience is I make the maximum contribution to my family, careeer, greater world, my own health and well being, I need only act on inspired and uplifting thoughts. The value I contribute is not measured in time but in positive impact. The more I work on myself, the more I have to offer others. I offer coaching to help you tap into your inner wisdom and how you can best apply that wisdom for your benefit and the benefit of ohers as well. Executive self awareness and leadership

You can only give what you have. To help people on your team take ownership and maximize the benefits of their talents, you need to be an example of making that work. You need to write down with as much articulation as possible what your talents are and how you use them to benefit yourself and others. Then you need to write down your weaknesses and how you design around them. Because example is the most powerful form of leadership, here's a list of what I perceive my talents to be and how I'm using them for my benefit and the benefit of others. Also, a list of my weaknesses and how I address them. I am a great meditator. In meditation I ask questions I want the answers to and listen for the answers to arise in my mind. I know acting on the thoughts in my mind that are uplifting will benefit myself and others. Everyone wants self acceptance, to be heard and valued. As I accept myself more and more, I provide an environment that supports others in accepting themsleves. I have a dogged persistance in accepting and aligning more and more with what's true. Again, that supports others in being more honest with themselves. Weaknesses of mine include being impatient, giving up focusing on what is true to adopt commonly held beliefs that are false. That includes going along to get along in an effort to feel more connected even though I know the only way to have the connection I desire is to be connected to myself. I know and have experienced that when I'm connected to myself I'm connected to everyone. Nevertheless, I still find myself falling into the destructive habit of adopting commonly held beliefs that don't work for me. When I do that I create stress for myself. That stress reminds me I've turned my back on what I know and it's time to recenter myself.
