St Helena Hospice stories
This year St Helena celebrates its 35th anniversary and 2020 is also international year of the nurse and midwife. St Helena has around a hundred nurses working at the hospice; out in people’s own homes; and over the phone in SinglePoint. Sue O’Neill is matron of our 16-bed hospice and she was a nurse on the very first day it opened on the 20th May 1985. In our first podcast, she shares what life is, as a hospice nurse.
