Do I Want to Be Seen or Do I Want to Serve?

In this study, we examine the growing temptation to build identity around attention, recognition, and visibility rather than humility and service. Through Philippians 2, Romans 12, and other passages, we are reminded that the church is not a platform for self-promotion but the body of CHRIST. Believers are called to use their gifts faithfully, esteem others above themselves, and seek GOD's glory rather than their own. The goal is not becoming impressive. The goal is becoming faithful.

In John 13, JESUS shows His disciples what true love and servanthood look like. Knowing the cross was near and knowing Judas would betray Him, JESUS still loved His own to the end. This teaching looks at CHRIST washing the disciples’ feet, the humility of true service, and the call to do what He has shown us - not merely understand it.

What is set apart for the Lord carries meaning—not because of the object itself, but because of the heart behind it.
