How do we define sex and gender, and how are these assigned? Are these set at birth? Join me as I explain my understanding of these terms. I'm sure there are gender theorists and biologists who have much more to say on this. Disclaimer: I'm a cis-male medical doctor sharing my understanding, geared toward a curious audience, or parents of children who are gender-diverse.
