Struggle and Strive Podcast
In this episode, Corinn Cook shares her powerful journey from struggling with panic attacks, agoraphobia, depression, and substance use to finding recovery, healing, and purpose. She recounts how a supportive doctor, therapy, and even her cats played pivotal roles in saving her life and inspiring her to pursue higher education in psychology. Corinn went on to become deeply involved with NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), leading campus chapters, offering peer support, and advocating for accessible mental health resources. Now a doctoral student and community advocate, she uses her lived experience to bring hope to others, fight stigma, and expand mental health support across Arizona.
