Episode 6  |  OPULENCE: The Power Of Story With each new song release I will be taking the opportunity to mould a corresponding podcast to further discuss the meaning and ideas which are mentioned in the music. On the 11th of June I released my fourth single for the year titled Opulence. In this episode I explore the concept of stories and how coming to a deeper understanding about ‘story’ helped with completing the song, as well as, creating the content for the release. I encourage everyone to take the time to think about the story you are creating in everyday life, make sure it’s not being told by someone else and make sure you are comfortable with the direction things are heading in. Whatever story you create about yourself and the world will be the frame of reference through which you perceive the world and then take action, so it’s incredibly important to have a positive story which you believe in. It’s been a long slow process of doing less and being more, looking around and realising that ‘what got me here, won’t get me there’ meaning I have to let go off that which no longer serves me, irrational, immature tendencies that need to go in order to be the man I want to be. I explain what some of these bad habits are and how I let go of them. I also recap 2 books I’ve recently finished reading and talk about the impact they’ve had on me. Logical Patience | Episode 4 with Paul Savelberg

Paul has had a roller coaster of a career changing jobs every few years in search of the right fit for himself professionally and for his crown jewel, his family. Only recently another chapter was unexpectedly added to the journey when he was made redundant from his long term role at Top Ryde City, but like any good project planner he has created a plan and is only focused on what’s next. Dad has always been a man of logic and rationale, he believes in taking time to plan and actively pursuing goals which add value to our experience. Whether that’s as professionals in a field or simply as people, there are many simple gems of wisdom that are applicable to all walks of life, such as understanding what it means to be adaptable and how to get there. I believe his SUPAPOWER is: LOGICAL PATIENCE. His combination of executive thinking mixed with a strong devotion to God lands him right in the sweet spot to handle the mania of having 5 kids & a wife while still running a $700 million shopping centre.
