The late great Jonathan Brandis battles the twin demons of maladaptive daydreaming and oxygen deprivation to achieve karate glory under the guidance of Mister Mako-yagi-san. With hot-for-teacher Beau Bridges, hot-for-schub Julian Nixon, Winny from the Wonder Years, and a truly unhinged Joe Piscopo and Richard Moll one-two-punch (I don't think I’m forgetting anyone), this film makes you really believe that the early 90’s were the peak 90’s in a very mid martial arts children's classic!
