With our annual Shinedown Dance event - Denim & Diamonds around the corner, one of our staff members, Fran, wanted to do a giveaway for a weekend pass. One of the rules was you had to say how you started dancing and why.. forgive me I am emotional on this one... I started doing this because dance is what saved me... not to be the top dog, not to be the best in the business, but to give people a place to let loose regardless of their following, what they identify as, skill level or any of that. That's what matters to me most.  Misschif's motto is to be a decent effing human, so why wouldn't my events be the same? Enjoy hearing an emotional one.

Murphys Law vs Dallas

If there is one thing I’ve always said about myself, is that I’m a walking Murphys law and my trip to Dallas was nothing but proof of that.  I decided to vlog my trip to my favorite dance event — Forever Country Dance Fest and getting there was a mess! Artist You Should Know About: Corey Hill

Two Marines, two different paths. Both chasing purpose after the uniform. We sat down with Corey Hill a few months back as he made his way to Tennessee, talking life, faith, and finding a new rhythm after years of service. His story carries that same Marine grit — discipline, heart, and a little bit of soul mixed in. Today is the 250th birthday of the United States Marine Corps, it felt right to share his journey and honor the men and women who keep pushing forward long after their time in uniform. October Hits Differently

October is coming to a close, but doesn’t change what this month means.  It’s Breast Cancer & Domestic Violence Awareness month. Two subjects that are extremely close to home. From close family members, to being a survivor, I share a little insight with you all. Things that changed my life in so many ways. Things I’m still healing from.  If there’s two things you take away from this weeks episode… it’s to get ya tata’s checked and you’re no alone 🩷💜
