I learned a lot from this interview with Screenwriter and filmmaker, Derrick "DP" Pridgen. DP's is the director of the feature length documentary, "Give It Up For The DJ" , and was instrumental in the making of films, Above The Rim and Crime Partners (which he transcribed from the Donald Goines novel of the same name). He tells us a story about his friendship and partnership with Jam Master Jay and the ins and outs of selling screenplays. I suggest you pay attention.
