She talks about how frustrating it can be interacting with medical professionals who want to “fix” everything and how you can find joy even in the worst of circumstances. Joy can be something SO SMALL you probably won’t see it! Slow down and be intentional with how you spend your time, energy, and focus. Learn how to live in the gray area of living with chronic pain alongside of joy AT THE SAME TIME!!! Joy doesn’t have to mean that everything is going your way.
