Episode 44: MotoAmerica News and 5 Questions Vol 3

This week we get our third and final volume of answers from riders in our 5 Questions series. But before we get there, we have news to go over!   Bradley Smith gets a wildcard entry in the Harley Davidson Baggers World Cup for the ParkinGO Team at Silverstone August 7-9. It lines up perfectly for the Englishman to do his home race in the off week between Mid-Ohio and VIR.   Torin Collins has retired from motorcycle racing. The 2025 Canadian SuperSport Champion also finished in the top 10 in MotoAmerica Supersport points last year, earned a podium finish in the class and was also the first Canadian to score points in the JuniorGP World Championship.    Orange Cat Racing will not be bringing the Lightfighter V3-RH to Mid-Ohio to participate in the Super Hooligans National Championship. From a statement on their website- “Following the fire that occurred at Laguna Seca, we remain focused on conducting an extensive evaluation of the platform. While meaningful progress has been made, we believe additional development in the workshop and on track is necessary before returning to competition.”   MotoAmerica has partnered with Texas Mini Cup and Flo4Law to add two more qualifiers for the Mini Cup National Final. A doubleheader event will take place this weekend (July 25th and 26th) at Amarillo Motorsports Park in Amarillo, TX. I would say go if you are close by, but nothing is close to Amarillo.   MotoAmerica still needs volunteers for Mid-Ohio! Episode 42: Preview of MotoAmerica Superbike Speedfest at Monterey

This week we preview all the classes and action set to take place over this MotoAmerica weekend at Laguna Seca.   Baz will continue to fill in for Cameron Beaubier at Warhorse Ducati   Joe Limandri Jr. will be the only rider for MP13 this weekend   Stefano Mesa makes his MotoAmerica Supersport return filling in for Torin Collins at Altus Motorsport on a Yamaha R9   Rossi Garcia returns after missing a couple rounds in Talent Cup   And, to top them all off, Jake Lewis and Cory West return after riding all over the world in the Harley Davidson Bagger World Cup

Episode 41: MotoAmerica Superbikes at Ridge Motorsports Park weekend review

Welcome back to The American Superbike Show brought to you by RidingTimes.com! Go check out their awesome 4th of July sale going on now!   We look back at all the action from each class that raced at Ridge Motorsports Park last weekend, including penalties handed out over the weekend.   Of course, leading the way, what a championship fight we have brewing in Superbike!   Next week we get to roll straight into previewing the next round at Laguna Seca. Episode 40: Preview of MotoAmerica Superbikes at Ridge Motorsports Park

This weekend the series travels about as far away from me as they can when they head to the Seattle area for the MotoAmerica Superbikes at Ridge Motorsports Park weekend. I love the west coast swing so I can go kayaking in the morning and still be home in plenty of time to catch all the races live.   In our News of the Week, Tyler Scott won the 103rd Loudon Classic! He has now won that race for the second year in a row and three times in the last four years. Brandon Paasch finished 2nd while Eli Block finished in 3rd place of a Supersport race on a Twins Cup bike?!?!?   Kensei Matsudaira and Mahdi Salem both also had a good weekend racing in the Moto4 Latin Cup in Argentina. In the three races over last weekend Matsudaira finished 1/2/2 while Salem was right behind him with a 2/3/3.   Finally, a very special thank you to Loris Baz for taking a few minutes to join the show after traveling nearly halfway around the world to fill in this weekend for Cameron Beaubier with the Warhorse HSBK Ducati with Flo4Law team.   Enjoy some awesome racing this weekend because I think all five classes racing are going to have interesting battles at the front.
