In their 17th episode, Zach and Cesco invite music producer and artist, creative thinker, fierce competitor, and avid lifter, Hunter to the table. The following conversation is one to remember as Hunter and both co-hosts discuss topics surrounding hope, the power of belief, love of music, competition, and the human paradox. In addition, Hunter explains the human construct of time, why it is a human perception, and how it is perceived as linear, but is actually circular. Finally, Zach discusses the satisfaction equation (Satisfaction = Halves/Desires) and how it applies to gratitude. The following conversation is dynamic, engaging, comical, and thought provoking. Some questions to ask yourself before listening to this episode: Is having hope necessary? How do I express my love? Is time an illusion? What kind of legacy am I currently leaving? #19: Dr. Jeff Cherubini | Making an Impact

For their 19th episode, Zach and Cesco had the absolute pleasure of having Dr. Jeff Cherubini, professor of Kinesiology at Manhattan College, on as a special guest. Dr. Cherubini has been mentioned in podcast conversation in almost every episode because of the great impact he’s made on Zach and Cesco’s lives. Here, he gets personal and dives into his life story to shine light on what has made him the empathic, intentional, and dedicated person he is today. In the episode, Dr. Cherubini discusses his endless list of job experiences and how he’s leveraged certain skills to foster personal and professional success. He breaks down the societal stigma of career awareness at a young age, discusses the role forgiveness has on embracing the present moment, how hope can motivate people to persevere, and the importance of loving what you do. The embodying qualities of Dr. Cherubini can be transitional to his personal life in being a compassionate father and husband. Not only does he encourage people to be curious, continuously ask questions, and love unconditionally, but he reminds us that we are currently living in the “Good Ol’ Days.” Dreamers by Johny Grimes https://souncloud.com/johny-grimes [https://souncloud.com/johny-grimes] Creative Commons — Attribution 3.0 Unported — CC BY 3.0 Free Download: https://bit.ly/3DELt3E [https://bit.ly/3DELt3E] Music Promoted by Audio Library https://youtu.be/14uXyT3z_OU [https://youtu.be/14uXyT3z_OU]

aflevering #18|Conflict artwork

#18|Conflict

In this episode, Zach and Cesco acknowledge the severity of how conflict manifests in our daily lives. Both co-hosts discuss different types of conflict (internal vs. external) and how our perception of these conflicts ultimately determine the reality of our experiential nature. Additionally, both aim to break down the societal stigma that conflict takes away, or negates, from individual experience, or meaning. They pose the idea that conflict is natural, necessary, and important for introspection. With this idea, Zach discusses a variety of ways in which one can proactively handle conflict with themselves, and/or with other people. Cesco specifically highlights the importance of speaking with conviction and trusting your intuition when making a decision. Ultimately, conflict is something that everyone deals with, all of the time, everywhere they go. It is inescapable and inevitable, yet it is also the gateway to liberation and the freedom of choice.
