I had the privilege to interview Mr. Eversmann, who was on location for what became to be known as Black Hawk Down.  Mr. Eversmann was gracious with his time and his willingness to educate us about the event that took place in October of 1993.  Mr. Eversmann's likeness was portrayed by Josh Hartnett and an excellent account of the event was written by Mark Bowden.  I encourage you to check out both.
