6. Jenny Jones

In this episode we were lucky enough to be joined by Olympic snowboarder and BBC Ski Sunday presenter Jenny Jones. Jenny provided a fun and very insightful interview on her career to date. We talked childhood memories, school experiences and her unexpected journey into professional snowboarding. Jenny also commented on a range of career highlights from Winter X-Games Gold to that memorable run in Sochi that saw her win Bronze for Team GB. Additionally, Jenny explained the physical and mental demands of required to become an olympic level athlete. She gave insight into her physical training regime as well as her work with a sports psychologist and described the mental approaches she used to develop her performance to an elite level. Another huge thank you to Jenny for giving up her time and joining us on The Bishy PE Podcast.
