9. Gregor Townsend

In this episode we were extremely lucky to be joined by former player and current Scotland National Rugby Coach. Gregor gave a very honest and inspirational interview on his childhood memories, his playing career, his coaching journey and how he learns from a variety of coaches from different sports, including Pep Guardiola. Gregor gave us an incredible insight into elite level sport - this episode is a must watch/ listen! We would like to say a massive thank you once again to Gregor from all of our staff and pupils here at Bishopbriggs Academy.

8. Alastair Kellock

Alastair Kellcock is a former Bishopbriggs High School pupil and former Glasgow Warriors and Scotland captain. Al spoke fondly on; his time at Bishopbriggs High, some of his favourite teachers, his youth playing days at Alan Glens Rugby Club, and his hugely successful professional career. We would like to thank Al again for giving up his time and providing such an inspirational and entertaining interview!

7. David Tanner

A huge thank you to David for joining us on The Bishy PE Podcast. David provided a very funny and incredibly interesting interview on his school experiences and his career journey. David spoke on everything from his time as a pupil at the old Bishopbriggs High School to his experiences interviewing football legends like Jim Baxter, Jose Mourinho, Alex Ferguson, Johan Cruyff, to name but a few! We would like to thank David once again from all of our pupils and staff here at Bishopbriggs Academy!

6. Jenny Jones

In this episode we were lucky enough to be joined by Olympic snowboarder and BBC Ski Sunday presenter Jenny Jones. Jenny provided a fun and very insightful interview on her career to date. We talked childhood memories, school experiences and her unexpected journey into professional snowboarding. Jenny also commented on a range of career highlights from Winter X-Games Gold to that memorable run in Sochi that saw her win Bronze for Team GB. Additionally, Jenny explained the physical and mental demands of required to become an olympic level athlete. She gave insight into her physical training regime as well as her work with a sports psychologist and described the mental approaches she used to develop her performance to an elite level. 5. Kimberley Renicks

Kimberley is the number 1 Judo player in the country within her weight class. She has completed all over the world and famously won gold for Scotland in the 2014 Common Wealth Games Glasgow. Kimberley spoke to us about her journey thus far and her hopes to represent Great Britain in the next Olympic Games.
