Should we hold ourselves accountable? Accountability: an obligation or willingness to accept responsibility or to account for one's actions. Should citizens receive a regular stipend from the government, on a monthly basis, to be used at their own discretion? Would this alleviate poverty? Is this what Dr. King proposed; “guaranteed income” in his book “where do we go from here: Chaos or Community?” published in 1967? Is this something that could be funded?
