Author and speaker Emily Jaminet joined the show to explain what the consecration means spiritually and how Catholics can keep the momentum alive. Practical next steps the U.S. bishops have called Catholics to take: * 250 hours of Eucharistic Adoration * 250 hours of Works of Mercy * First Friday Devotion — Receive Holy Communion on the first Friday of nine consecutive months, rooted in the 12 promises of the Sacred Heart to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque * Enthronement of the Sacred Heart in the home — visit WelcomeHisHeart.com [https://WelcomeHisHeart.com?utm_source=Iowa%20Catholic%20Radio&utm_medium=Podcast&utm_campaign=The%20Catholic%20Morning%20Show] Learn more about Emily Jaminet and her books and speaking at IowaCatholicRadio.com [https://www.IowaCatholicRadio.com?utm_source=Iowa%20Catholic%20Radio&utm_medium=Podcast&utm_campaign=The%20Catholic%20Morning%20Show] Gospel Reflection — Fr.
