Anusha Subramanian is an award-winning journalist, a British Chevening Scholar and a Mountaineer. She quit her job as a full-time journalist in 2013 to pursue her interests in mountaineering and working for social causes. Anusha has chosen to dedicate her skills and experience towards specific causes through Summiting4Hope, a social initiative she co-founded in 2013. She is currently working towards building awareness around inclusion of persons with disability in the outdoors to send out a strong message that all of us are part of the same society and can co-exist together. She believes mountains and the outdoors do not differentiate between anyone, so why is it that we differentiate among people? She has always believed that to change something, you have to be the change yourself.
