Ashley introduces us to Pflag (a peer support group for individuals and families focused on supporting and educating Canadians on issues of sexual orientation and gender identity) and the work that she does for the community. The Importance of Language: The Words We Choose To Use

Christina and Lee-Ann examine ways in which what we say and how we say things influence the way we perceive things. They explore ways to cultivate a healthier narrative by being mindful of the language we use to describe ourselves and the world around us.

Supporting Someone who is Not Okay

Christina and Lee-Ann discuss what it means to be supportive towards someone who is not okay. They provide suggestions on how to be present for our loved ones who are experiencing unique struggles in their day to day lives.
