Ep. 9 Men's Mental Health Awareness w/ Parker Sampson

We are FINALLY back after a little break, on this episode Western Michigan Kicker Parker Sampson joined the pod to discuss something that needed to be brought to attention and now is more of a perfect time than ever with men's mental health. Also towards the end of the episode we discuss a list of things men should know given to us by Parkers father. Last month was Men's Mental Health Awareness Month as men's mental health is seen as something that is not taken as serious as it should be. Just a couple facts about men's mental health: - men are 3.5x more likely to die by suicide than women - over 6 million men per year suffer from depression The point of this episode regardless if you are a male or female is to feel comfortable enough to talk to someone if you aren't feeling like yourself. Here is the suicide prevention line: 800-273-8255. Do what you can to help someone whose going through it.
