11: Time For Change

We all have a platform to share and spread our message, thoughts, opinions and experiences. Right now it’s more important than ever to use that platform. It’s not about who has the best content. It’s not about who gets the most likes. It’s not about being right or wrong. It’s not about being afraid to share your own thoughts and experiences. It’s about sharing those thoughts and experiences. It’s about listening. It’s about learning. It’s about researching and educating yourself. It’s about having those tough conversations. It’s about finding a way to help create change and not be a part of the problem. I created this podcast as an additional platform to share stories of aspiring life enthusiasts who encourage empowerment by overcoming adversity, staying true to their values and beliefs, leading by example and sharing life experiences while elevating the mindset of individuals or community. That’s exactly what we need to start doing. Sharing life experiences while elevating the mindset of individuals or a community. This episode is for those who are making a conscious effort to help make a difference in society. Those who want to listen. Those who want to learn. Those who want to be better. Those who are using their own platform to show they want to help make a difference. Let’s continue to keep our foot on the gas and elevate the mindset of individuals and our communities.

7: Casey Anderson

On this episode, we speak with Casey Anderson, a native of Warroad, Minnesota and a former Minnesota State University, Mankato golfer who is now living and working as an English teacher outside of Osaka, Japan. We talked about the opportunity to apply and take on a role in the JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching) program, the transition he had to make to Japanese culture and his experiences he’s had over the last 14 months. Even with a 14 hour time difference, we found a gap of time that would work for us to chat about us journey in Japan and other adventures.
