The Dad Ball Podcast
I love podcasts, that's how this became a podcast, so I figured that maybe I should talk about some of the other podcasts that I've been listening to.

Episode 97: What I'm Listening To
Episode 96 - Tryouts for Adults
Another Dad Ball Podcast! I think I called it Sporting Chance by mistake. That's why you have tryouts, to weed out those mistakes. Teachers have them too, just like athletes. I bemuse about the differences and similarities, and compliment the Master's for still being stuffy.
Episode 95 - Historical Blues
A quick update episode running down the latest and greatest from the newsletter, including the story about why Italy has blue uniforms. Plus, we get to add state champion to the resume! Follow along at the Substack! [https://matthewmaratea.substack.com/?utm_campaign=profile_chips]
Episode 94- Gary Chupik Makes Our Mindset Elite!
For this special episode, I had a chance to sit down with Gary Chupik, a mindset professional who helps professional athletes, high performance business people, and apparently me! We go through Gary's background, changing careers, faith, family, mindset, and the power of making progress. He also shares one thing every person can do heading into 2026 to unlock an edge. You can find Gary on his Instagram [https://www.instagram.com/elitemindset/?hl=en], his website [https://www.elitemindsetnation.com/], and his Linkedin [https://www.linkedin.com/in/garychupik/] to connect and find a new edge with the power of unlocking your mindset. Episode 93- You Stretch Now
It isn't about athletic glory anymore, but it still can be, maybe. I'm in PT and other things that I'm changing to fit dad schedules. Building a life around teaching, fatherhood, coaching, and being a husband means taking care of yourself comes last, but is also even more important. I'm talking about some of the little things that factor into that practice.
