At 58 years old, Tim Turner couldn't turn the key in his own car. A healthy, active home builder just weeks earlier, Tim was suddenly unable to walk normally, lift his arms, or perform basic daily tasks. Within weeks of his first symptoms — muscle cramps, swelling, sudden full-body inflammation — he was diagnosed with severe rheumatoid arthritis and told he would likely need lifelong steroids and immunosuppressive medication.
