Description

Where has the year gone? Already it's december and we are here to talk about our Christmas dirty pages! In a twist, we have chosen the same Author, without meaning to... So this month we will talk about the lovely Delia Smith and her recipes , and in the mailbag we will discuss a page that was sent to us that is very much a history piece and statement on intergenerational recipes. What is your favourite recipe to cook at Christmas? Let us know at hello@thedirtypage.com [hello@thedirtypage.com] or at our instagram.

Episode 2: First/Student Cookbooks

Wow, has it been a month already? We have been so blown away by all the support and feedback over the last month. We are back with episode 2, and hopefully our audio is much better this time around.   This time we are talking about First or Student cookbooks: The books we first used after we left home, either at university or during our first job/jobs. We will talk about a cookbook that is very traditional, with all the pros and cons of that. Then Helen will talk about how she almost gained two husbands from a cookie recipe.   As always, please let us know about your cookbooks you used after first leaving home, either in the comments below, at hello@thedirtypage.com, or on our instagram [https://www.instagram.com/dirtypagepod/].   Credits: Lemon Delicious Pudding - From "Like Grandma Used to Make" by Readers Digest (Australia) Pty Ltd, 2002 Chocolate Chip Cookies - From "Beyond Baked Beans: Real Food for Students" by Fiona Beckett, 2002
