Darin Toonder is an American actor known for his recurring and guest roles in television and film. He is best recognized for portraying Dr. Damon Montague on the ABC soap opera General Hospital and Agent Melvin Rainey on the Hulu series Paradise!
Born on September 11, 1973, in Allentown, Pennsylvania, Toonder grew up across Indiana, Indianapolis, and Pennsylvania before settling in Los Angeles to pursue acting. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Columbia College in Chicago and honed his craft performing with prestigious groups such as Steppenwolf, The Second City, and at The Barbican in London.
His television and film credits span a variety of genres. In addition to General Hospital and Paradise, his acting resume includes roles in Disney+’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, ABC’s Will Trent, Peacock's Bel-Air, and the acclaimed horror-thriller film Obsession. Aside from acting, he also works as an improv coach and instructor through his own platform, Darin' to Improv!
