The Edge of the Sticker
A new listener to the podcast recently asked us about the music that's heard in the beginning and end of the podcast so we thought we'd discuss it. What you're hearing is the handpan played by Bobby frank. It's a weird and amazing instrument that blends rhythm, harmony and melody. You might encounter one at a soundbath or during meditation. It's a soothing sound that inspires relaxation, introspection and calm. About halfway through this episode, you'll hear a 5 minute improvisation on handpan and percussion. This improv is performed on a handpan tuned to the Celtic D minor scale. Visit TheEdgeOfTheSticker.com [https://www.theedgeofthesticker.com/] for more information about the book and where to buy it.
