An informed, creative leader with more than 20 years of experience in the field of education, she is passionate about using her skills to foster equitable and effective learning experiences for all. Stacey co-hosts the podcast “Educate U.S.” and is co-authoring the book “Transforming Collective Power” (expected 2024). In her spare time, she enjoys being active outdoors, traveling to new places, getting lost in a book /series, and spending time with her husband, three children, and two dogs.

Maritza Rodriguez- Dortrait has been privileged to serve in our dynamic field of education as an educator, instructional coach, and school leader for over 24 years. In her tenure as Educator/Principal, she has collaborated with her school teams and families to create safe, nurturing, and equitable learning spaces for ALL students. She is a fearless advocate for children. Attaining her Ed.D in Ed. Leadership from USC has continued to fuel her aspirations to work alongside teacher leaders and all stakeholders to disrupt, dismantle and re-imagine Excellence and Equity for ALL students in and beyond our schools. She currently resides in the Bay Area, with her husband Carlos, and three boys, Aeden(14), Lucas(10), and Liam (8) where she is currently serving to support a new generation of teacher leaders,. As a Clinical Associate at Stanford’s Graduate School of Education, Teacher Education Program (STEP), Dr. Dortrait continues her passion within education.
