Episode 1 - Navigating the Energy Transition: Adapting Engineering Skills for the Future with Engr. Leida Monterrosa and Prof. Kelani Bello

Season 1 - Episode 1 The energy transition is a trending global topic. The world is aiming at a net-zero carbon emission by 2050. This thus raises the question amongst aspiring engineers in the energy industry especially petroleum engineers, "will my current engineering skills be relevant in the future?" This first live episode of The Energy & Tech Podcast done in collaboration with SPE University of Benin Student Chapter, Nigeria, addresses the challenging question asked above. This episode featured two distinguished guest speakers. They are; Engr. Leida Monterrosa, the first and current (as of the time of making this post) Manager of SLB Performance Centre - Europe; and Prof. Kelani Bello, an award winning Professor at the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the University of Benin, Nigeria. Due to technical failure from our end, the episode was not recorded from the beginning. Our sincere apologies.
