Violence in the north: Is the Marshals Service working?

Violence in communities such as Pelican Narrows has renewed concerns about public safety in parts of northern Saskatchewan and raised questions about what additional tools governments have to respond when crime escalates. Robert Cameron is the Chief Marshal of the Saskatchewan Marshals Service, a new provincial law enforcement agency created to target serious crime, prolific offenders, and crime hotspots. Saskatchewan's new AI data centre: Opportunity or risk?

The AI data centre set to be built south of Regina continues to spark conversation. A new report, co-written by Dr. Margot Hurlbert, Canada Research Chair in Climate Change, Energy and Sustainability Policy and professor at the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy at the University of Regina, explores the project in great detail. It doesn't criticize the project completely, but asks if the province of Saskatchewan is getting the full benefit of the centre and why many questions remain unanswered.
