And the dead in Christ will rise first. [17] Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord. [18] Therefore encourage one another with these words. (ESV) SUMMARY We ground our tired minds in First Thessalonians 4:16 and let the promise of Jesus’ return bring real comfort after a hard day. We name the burdens we carry and fall asleep remembering that today does not get the final word. • reading and reflecting on the trumpet call of Scripture • looking back on today’s hardships with honesty • naming burdens like mistreatment, long trials, and chronic illness • building a habit of remembering Jesus will return • releasing tension with a deep breath at bedtime • praying for confidence, empowerment, and hope for tomorrow Please consider becoming a partner.
